About Madrid Pride (MADO)
Madrid Orgullo, MADO, is Europe's largest Pride by attendance. For a week at the start of July the Chueca neighbourhood becomes an open-air festival with stages on the plazas, and the Saturday parade down Paseo del Prado draws well over a million people.
The party side is enormous: every club in the city programmes its biggest night of the year, and the circuit promoters bring their headline events to Madrid for the week.
