When you create an account, we store your email address and, if you provide it, a display name. We never ask for a phone number, postal address, or payment details.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email address and name. We do not receive your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
When you bookmark an event or submit an event for review, we store that action against your account so you can access it later.
We use your email address to send account-related communications (e.g. email confirmation). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in, and we do not currently send marketing emails at all.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We use local storage to remember recently viewed events and your search preferences. No third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies are set.
The homepage may ask for your location to show nearby events. This is processed in your browser and on our servers to find the closest city with events. We do not store your precise location.
Your data is stored securely via Supabase (hosted on AWS in the EU region). We apply row-level security so users can only access their own data.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@glitter.zone. We will delete your personal data within 30 days. Publicly contributed content (e.g. event submissions that were published) may remain under a pseudonymous identifier.
