COVEN's Blaxtravaganza presents: Popola

Popola is a London-based queer collective that creates cultural events centred on Afro-Caribbean and Latinx diasporic communities, with a particular focus on queer people, women, and QPOC (Queer People of Colour). Their mission goes beyond nightlife—they describe themselves as being about “decolonial queerness”, using music, dance, community and culture to create spaces where people can celebrate their identities without having to code-switch or feel excluded.
