MERGE x THE GREAT BEYOND Weekender

Nestled between miles of cornfields and agricultural infrastructure in the Minnesota River Valley Sanctuary is one of underground techno's most finest gatherings: The Great Beyond. Grounded in Midwestern kindness and care, the festival embodies the music's imperfect roots through a deeply felt, PLUR-as-fuck ethos. We hope to capture that spirit through MERGE.

From Wednesday, January 27 through Sunday January 31, 2027 we are pushing forward a full Weekender in collaboration with The Great Beyond on our Brooklyn home-turf.

Wednesday and Thursday unfold at Nowadays, exploring our shared affinity for the psychedelic and experimental: live performances, slower tempos, and space to settle in before gradually building toward the dance floor.

Friday and Saturday return us to our favorite East Williamsburg warehouse for two nights of dance, self-expression, and hyper-immersion. Expect familiar faces from both MERGE and The Great Beyond alongside a carefully curated group of new voices.

Merge is a Brooklyn-based, queer party that aims to cultivate sonic liminoid experiences through techno music. We will work together to incubate the collective queer body, and experience its transformation under the influence of techno. We seek release, mutual understanding, deeper access to the personal, interconnected, and ethereal. We honor the sound through dance, self expression, and hyper-immersion.

If a problem or concern arises, guests are encouraged to locate a staff member for assistance. While on the dance floor, we encourage guests to keep conversations to a minimum and phones in their pockets.
